These illustrations based on Marant's S/S 13 collection have a very bohemian meets Elvis sort of theme. Marant's collections always conveys a very laid back chic vibe and this collection is no exception. I also really like the intricate embroidered patterns and motifs from the collection. I am also very interested in who Marant 'designs' for. She has said she would describe her style as ''la melting mode' a combination of Parisian street-style with a refined twist'. I like that her collections always seem approachable and wearable. I had a hard time picking my three designs to illustrate but felt these outfits really summed up the effortless cool and beautiful detailing found in this collection.
